| Thursday, May 17, 2007 | | Distance | 9.5 | I've had this bat for a couple of months now. It was quite rigid when I first tried it. Not much flex in the shaft/handle area possibly due to the M7 construction for this model. This may mean high durability and less distance at first. Although it's slightly end loaded I can hit it to the opposite field and either hit it out or can aim for the infield holes. Great pop from a 14" barrel along with the end load keeping good bat speed through the strike zone. I'll bet the distance increases with more use.

The only drawback as with most hot bats, is durability. I put about 600 swings on mine and it cracked. Right before this crack, it just kept getting hotter and hotter though. 300 foot shots made simple with this bat.

I hit a softball so hard with it during bp that the pitcher said that he did not see it come past him. It does not matter where you hit the ball on it because the whole barrel is like one big sweet spot. If you want a bat that will make you a better hitter instantly this is it!!!! I always liked demarini products but I think that worth might be tugging at my coat tail!!!!!

My last blast went 15 feet above the netting on a 285 fence. Tremendous distance & pop. Haven't been around it long enough for durability. You simply can't miss the sweet spot either. It hits like the Freak + but the durability is a question. I got 1500 swings out of the Miken but only 700 out of the M7120. I would rather have a Miken Freak+ in my opinion and the Miken is cheaper in price.

I recently bought the red jeff hall m7. the jeff hall is much better than the plus. and the plus has much more bp on it i love the end load. it feels more like a baseball bat to me and thats what im used to. oh yeah i hit the juice also side by side. the mayhem is best. Now that it has opened up it is smoking the ball. Distance and pop are the same as the Green Mayhem but this bat is slightly endloaded. My Green one broke at 800 swings. Let's hope this one stands up longer than that with the supposedly new technology in the M7 line. Super bat.
