| | Monday, April 27, 2009 | | Distance | 10 | I have had this bat for one year now. As the other reviews said it was hot out of the wrapper. I typically hit homeruns and this bat just helped they launch even more. As of recently it has been super hot smashing deep bombs even into high winds at times. Doing homerun derby with some guys after a game last night and got a crack right in the sweet spot of the barrel. I have had it just under a year so im going to send it in. I have thousands of hits on it though and i swing it hard so im suprised it even lasted this long. Just an outstanding bat.

| | Thursday, February 5, 2009 | | Distance | 10 | have owned my freak LE since last spring and it just keeps getting better and better. it was hot right out of the wrapper and now is just sick. big sweet spot, even up the barrel close to the handle taper. i'm not usually a HR hitter but i smoothed out my swing and let the bat do the work and averaged almost a hr a game with plenty of gappers as well. can't wait for this spring season to kick in to see how much better the bat is going to get! probably about 600-700 swings on it so far and nothing more than normal scuffs and surface scratches so durability appears pretty good. 44/.400 balls and i'm hitting them like they were 47/525's. a definite must have for nsa/isa/usssa players. (not asa approved)

| | Tuesday, January 27, 2009 | | Distance | 10 | Bought this bat last spring and it is hot out of the wrapper. I am not a normal home run hitter but this bat made me one again. Hits hot liners and if you get under it abit, the ball keeps carrying. I am not sure on the durability yet but so far it's holding up great. Outstanding non ASA bat.

| | Friday, January 16, 2009 | | Distance | 10 | purchased a 27oz freak ltd ed last summer. had a lot of pop right out of the wrapper. now i have about 300-350 swings on it and it's just sick. no cracks or rattles so durability appears good. sweetspot is as big as any bat i've used. the only bat i've ever swung that hit better than this was a shaved synergy extended a couple years ago (just a couple swings in batting practice, it wasn't my bat). balanced feel. i can't imagine there's a better bat for the money and i don't know if there's a better bat period. this just keeps getting better and better the more i use it!

Miken Sports sponsored our team, recommended that we use Recoil and Limited Edition Freak which we love it, nicely blast, increases more power so much similiar quality on the Original ones! | | Thursday, November 20, 2008 | | Distance | 10 | purchased a freak ltd ed this spring and LOVE IT!! i didn't hit the original freak but i had a freak+ and had about 350 swings on it and the freak ltd ed, right out of the wrapper, was hitting the ball (.44/400) just as far, if not farther, than my old freak+. it has a slightly more balanced feel than the freak+, (both were 27's). also has a rather "soft" feel to the bat, but the ball really just jumps off it. very happy with the bat and will hang on to it for as long as i can!
