| | Sunday, April 16, 2006 | | Distance | 8.5 | I bought the Maniac for my daughter who is 12 years old. She had used a friends M-Pulse the previous year and really liked the balanced feel and pop of the bat. No problems with M-Pulse. We bought the bat in November 2005, have never used with a machine and in our third tournament of the year, the bat broke at the top of the handle. She loved the way the bat felt and the ball was jumping off of the bat consistently. Not sure what I will buy next, she loves the balanced feel, but I hate to break in another Miken just to have it break again??? If they could make this bat with the durability of a rocket tech it would be a no brainer. I

| | Friday, April 14, 2006 | | Distance | 10 | I play for my high school and we recieved one of these bats along with a RocketTech as our team bats. It's not the greatest bat out there, but it gets the job done pretty well. It is much easier to get used to than the end weighted RocketTech. Don't use it in cold weather, it may dent.

| | Tuesday, October 11, 2005 | | Distance | 10 | I coach high school varsity and 18u travel in Southern California. I got Maniacs (32-22)to replace some very well worn M-pulses for fall ball.I like to use new composites to hit infield and outfield to help the break-in. I always liked the m-pulse and the girls loved them. I didn't really expect the Maniac to be so much better. The girls noticed right away too and it showed. My good contact hitters got it first. I never bother to worry about how many feet a bat adds. I see it in bases, singles swing that become doubles, and doubles shots became stand up triples. Even my big hitters wanted to put away their -9 Techfires(techfires are much perfered to Rocket Tech by our power hitters, they have great deals here now by the way) and give it a shot but a 22oz was just too light.I then I picked up 33-23 Manic for girls wjo loved the first one but wanted a little more weight. I was even more impressed hitting with the 33, long bat= bigger sweet spot. And even more pop.Unfortunately like some have experienced with the slow pitch version it broke cleanly in two right at top of the grip in the first game. I thought it might turn the girls off to the bat but they just keep passing the 32 down the order and beating the heck out of the ballwith it, though a couple are counting the days hoping the replacement 33 gets here bore fall league ends.Without the broken one this bat would be all 10+'s

| | Sunday, October 2, 2005 | | Distance | 10 | I used this bat over the weekend. My father got it for me from a sports company and he wanted to know how I liked it because he wanted a "hot" bat for his bigger hitters on his highschool team. The one I tried out was a brand new 23oz/33in once. I used it in a fall tournament that my college team was in. Our team uses Easton synergys but since its just fall our coach let us try out this bat. I have always been a fan of Miken untill Anderson came out with the RocketTech. The other girls that tired it enjoyed the bat too. So far I like this bat more than all of the composites out on the market (Ive tried Synergy, Catalyst, Evo, and Mayhem.)! The weight is evenly balanced throughout the bat. The sweet spot seemed massive. It was easy to bunt and slap with as well. It did seem light to me (and the other girls) I would of rather used a 24 or 25 even though they dont make a Maniac heaier then a 24. My previous experience with Mikens is that if more then 2 people use them for the season (includes fall balln summer ball and batting practice) they will shatter/break, but they are very quick about replacing it. I loved the grip and the skinny handle. The nice thing about Miken is that they even send you a brand new grip if yours tears or wears down. Miken has won my heart over again!! I suggest this to all left handed hitters small and strong!
