| Monday, May 7, 2007 | | Distance | 9 | To be honest this bat was a real dud for me! I bought it at the beginning of my High School Season this year and it was breaking in less then a month. I am a junior and have been on varsity since my freshman year and this bat just did not do it for me. The top was popping off and the barrell sounded like dirt was in it. I was not the only girl on my team that bought it and they are having the same problems. I would reccomend the Synergy above all things. It is AWESOME i have had that since last year and it is still going strong till this day. I would not reccomend this bat to a player that is experienced and likes a certain feel for the bat, but then again that is just me.

| | Tuesday, July 25, 2006 | | Distance | 9 | I am a freshman varsity softball player and i bought this bat becuase my friend had the 2006 catalyst and i hit 7 homeruns with it. Now i have the 2007 version and i just love it. My batting average has sky rocketed since i got this one. i went from a .467 to a .584. I hit 6 homeruns and i would reccomend this bat to anyone who wants to hit good.

| | Thursday, July 13, 2006 | | Distance | 10 | We picked this bat up because our girls were fighting over our original catalyst. OH MY GAWD!! This bat is just as hot as the original and has about 300+ less hits on it. Besides the Catalysts our team has a Synergy, an Oklahoma City, a Quad, a Vexxum, and a few assorted single wall aluminums. The girls have pretty much narrowed the bats down to the Catalysts and the Synergy. Having swung both hitting balls to the girls during fielding practice, I like the feel of the Synergy better, but the Catalysts seem to have a little more pop. We are waiting on a Mayhem replacement bat for a broken bat, but I am assuming it is just like all the other composites, a matter of personal feel for the bat. The only bad thing I can say about any Catalyst is the fact that the paint chips badly. Our old one is a 2004 and is chipped very badly. The new one is just over a month old and looks on track to catch the old one in the chipping department.
