I will be honest when I say all 98 mph bats are the same to me. Rules state that a ball cannot exceed 98 mph or whatever. So go for how a bat feels and swing away.

For this Synergy I decided on the Extended since I am more of a placement hitter versus a long ball hitter. I brought the new Synergy to a scrimmage game of a pretty bad co-ed team I just joined. 1/2 way through the game everyone started using the bat and we hit 11 hitters in a row which was a huge improvement. Every guy and girl was loving the bat, including myself who almost hit one out with little effort. I have never used such a balanced bat with such a large sweet spot. This is a great bat.

I weigh 160 lbs and have hit homeruns around 330-350ft with this bat and the bat still hits them that far. Has a huge sweetspot! I would recommend a 28 or 30 ounce for more pop. This bat is awesome!!!Good job easton, keep it up!

All of my outs are usually pulled pop-outs. Now with the Synergy Extended, the ball is jumping off the bat. Granted, I've only used this bat a few times, tt has given me huge sense of confidence. I'm going up knowing that I'll get a solid single or double every time. I have so much control of the bat that I'm going opposite way now. This bat is definitely a good investment for those that want that extra pop. My friends have this same bat and the durability seems very solid over a course of a few months. I'll keep you updated, but I think I'll make a few adjustments and aim for the fence.

Also have a Synergy Flex, a lot of people like the flex but I prefer the Extended for ASA, hits the mush balls a lot further. Have about 400-450 swings on this one so far, no signs of cracking or flat spots, some paint chipping but that is to be expected, highly recommend this bat.

It hits alot of homeruns( for me 13 in 4 weeks) but the best thing about the bat is the sweetspot which means its got alot of pop on line drives as well. This bat is better than the original freak,mizuno crush,and all the others ive used. Its hot out of the wrapper and so far it hasnt shown any signs of slowing down, and the durability is a 10 as well as distance and the sweetspot! Trust me it is well worth having one in your bag!

I can easily park a ball with any of my Demarini's and with this bat I seem to only hit line drives. The ball just doesn't jump off the bat like some of my other bats. Hard liners, and long hr's. it is hard to miss the ss on this one. Much bigger than the syn2, just a touch behind in distance. It doesn't have the crack that the 2 has either. But with a ss like that who cares what it sounds like. It has about 400 swings now, and staying strong. It also scratces real easy.

I'm deaf, as all of you may hear the sound of the bat once you hit the ball~ I only could feel the (Ping) after I hit the ball, the ball just flew flat-out! I'm not a homerun hitter, just a line-drive hitter. I haven't hit a homerun with this but still this bat is above more than I'd expected. I own Synergy 2 from last year, it's still in excellent condition~which I won the batting champion award in Midwest Deaf regional tournament last year. I still recommend for those who wants to have a good bat with the feel of the vibration and or the sound of the bat, go and get Synergy Extended bat!

This is the only bat other than the Freak that makes that "echo'ing- cracking" sound that the utlta 2's used to make when you hammer the ball. Now the bat has pretty good distance but I bought a 28 oz I should of went lighter probably more distance for me. The sweetspot is unbelievable, and durability is great. I sanded the clear coat off the barrel seemed to make a huge difference. I think this bat is very similar to the '04 freak in all categories except for sweet spot the synergys got it beat there. buy the bat you'll be happy.

The wind was blowing in directly at the plate(about 20-25 mph) and the girls were cracking line drives up the middle that were cutting through the wind hard enough to scream by the infield. The power hitters were even still burning the outfield with monstrously hard bombs even against the wind. I would put it slightly above the Mikken Freak which has been its only rival in our arsenal so far. I was proud to coach that day picking up both wins because of these girls ability to base hit the ball with a lot of pop. I'll review it again when my guys team gets a chance to use it.

The 525 47. core balls jumped off the bat but nothign like the low comps it smoked them. I was lighting up the left side of the infeild all weekend and sending the outfielders to the fence with line drives! Sick bat just takes a little breaking in like the S2. There are a few cracks in the clear coat though so the durability is still up in the air.
