I first had the 2004 model and I used it on a real cold night and I put a dent in the handle so I sent it in and got the new 2005 model. It is a good bat for the girls on my coed team. But I recently got a Synergy 2 and I think it will be a lot better bat. If you are looking for base hits and not so much distance the DeMarini is the way to go. Not a bad bat.
