I bought a Demarini last summer because I thought they were THE BAT for softball, man was I wrong. The Demarini can't touch the Synergy 2. Don't get me wrong the DeMarini is a good bat but it is no Synergy 2. Everything about it is AWESOME. I also hit the old 04 Freak and the Freak can't touch the Synergy 2 either.

I did hit a friends SC23 though and the plus definitely has more distance. If your league allows it go for the plus otherwise this bat is one fo the best on the market. Swings true to it's weight or less, unlike the Demarini F2 I had that swung heavy.

| Thursday, March 18, 2004 | | Distance | 9.5 | BAM!!!!!!! The ball flies right off of this bat. Played in cold weather, me and some other big guys swung it and there are no dents, waves, or cracks. And let me tell you, we were showing no mercy to this bat. Balls were soaring over 380ft. VERY durable. GREAT pop right out the bag. Beware though this bat will feel lighter than other composites. All around this bat is the best composite. I have hit with the best and nothing comes close. You get the hard line drives for base hits, and the BOMBS for homeruns. Overall I would have to highly recommend this bat to anyone, powerhitter or not.

The sweet spot is definitely smaller than the U2. Durability is tought to judge at this point, but 200 cuts in 40 weather is good enough for me. It will take a little getting used to. I easily hit 330+ with it. Durability is good too. Easton says it is a 60 deg. and over bat but I just played in 45-60 deg. tourney and no problems! That was with .525 comp balls. Better yet the Freak will will be banned before this one!!

Then started swinging like I did last fall. The beat balls we were using went 320-350 feet easily. I did hit hard line drives and base hits, but this bat can hit with distance. This bat is highly recommended, not after the "freak," or if the "freak" is banned, but straight up.
