Distance9.5WOW, WOW, WOW!!!! Need I say more! this bat is a MONSTER! I loves the Rocket tech & must say this is even better. More durable, better distance & a larger sweet spot. Tes best part about this bat is Anderson has done a great job, & this bat will stay legal unlike the Composite bats. My recomendation is get one of these & leave the others alone.

Distance7After reading every review out there I decided to purchase this bat. Most of the reviews I came across mentioned a "break in" period. Over 500 swings later it still won't loosen up. I have hit some balls right on the screws and the ball just seems to die. The line drives are respectable but the distance is nothing special. I use and old TPS C555 and a TPS Ai and they both seem to give me more distance. So far in my opinion this bat has been a let down.

Distance9Awesome bat! I used to have Rocket Tech, but I hate it so much. This bat is so much better for low compression ball (.44, 375). I just got it and played so well at my first game even it is not break-in yet!! How much more if it got break-in... Looking forward to see the react of bat after break-in!!! Get this bat if your leagues are using low compression balls!!!

Distance10The Anderson Tech Zilla ia a great addition to any players bat bag! The pop off the bat is unbelievable! It has been a great offensive weapon for our team! I was a big fan of the TPS GENISIS, until trying the Tech Zilla. The sweet spot is much larger. Since trying the Tech Zillaour team now owns 3 Anderson Bats.

Distance10Awesome bat. After about 500 hits in 1 week, it has a lot of flat spots, and is very wavey, but that sucker has crazy pop! I thought it should be illegal, but its not. so get one if you like anderson bats. I also have a rocket, and i hope it breaks in like the tech does. The techzilla is easilly in the top 5.

Distance9.5Bought this bat about 2months ago. Just went to a tournament and Drilled a GRANNY to Dead Center about 330ft. (I'm 6'2" 180lbs) This bat is even good for singles and doubles. I was lighting up the 3rd and SS hole all day long on 2 strike counts. This bat is like a WHIP. Awesome, HIGHLY recommended.

Distance10just read the reviews! i'm a skeptical person but this bat is for real. being from milwaukee, the beginning of season starts in the 40's the bat withstands for the durability. distance = read the the other reviews. sweet spot is awesome but my honest opinion is u2 is a bit better, but that is comparing composite to non, also remember what i said it is still in the 40's.

Distance9I had been using a 1983 Silver Bombat which was so sweet I was saddened when I had to retire it. I'm a singles/doubles hitter with some occassional pop but this Anderson Zilla is Sick. It takes a bit to break in as we're over 100 swings now but worth wait=- Make sure to rotate barrel in BP after every swing..Only problem I found is that ball jumps in such a quick/lively manner that opposing pitcher had his teeth knocked out by a line drive and 3rd baseman cracked shinbone in BP trying to field a laser shot grounder. This could have happened with any bat mind you but ball literally "Flies" off bat so in non-competition leagues it should be restricted. If you play 3b/1b/P/2b/ss watch out. I put mine back in bag and now really don't want to use it as I'm afraid of hurting someone with it

Distance10Kaboom! After you break it in its hot. Be patient with it. Each hitters break in will differ on power. Mine is in under 100. Its have a truck load of pop and you need a golf cart to retrieve the balls. Hit some hard liners and as usual went yard a whole lot. I have 3 Andersons and will buy more as they come out. They are all approved until 2005 as of now. I say go get one.

Distance10AWESOME!!!! this bat is a must have for any one looking for a real bat (not one of those over priced plastic things) it is legal and will stay legal & you dont need to worry about breaking it, the more you use it the better it performs & boy does it perform. make contact with the large sweet spot & watch the ball scream. Anderson has hit a grandslam with this one. it is almost like hitting the ball with a trampolene the way it just jumps off the bat. the rubber mallet idea is a great idea. it slices the break-in period. it wont make everyone a home run hitter but it will blast the ball into the gaps with blazing speed & if you make solid contact on the sweet spot, I think it could add 25 to 30 feet to the drive. If you are serious about buying the best bat on the market look no further THIS IS IT.

Distance9.5Great bat! Bought a 28oz. Demo/Blem 'zilla to see if all the hype about Anderson bats was true. Believe me it is! This thing is a monster. Was hitting some killer shots with this thing. Already DESTROYED three balls in BP with it, and launched a whole lot more. Oh, and just so you know, what everyone is saying about the weight, it's true. I picked one up and it didn't feel any more end-loaded than my old Z-core, but once I started hitting balls with this bat I felt the weight of it. My neighbor agreed. He thought that it was actualy lighter than his 3dx until he started hitting with it. I'm planing on picking up an RT soon. Making sure that I go lighter on the weight this time.

Distance9Still waiting for it to come alive. Haven't been able to get many swings on it due to cold weather. Definitely a bat for someone with high swing speed. When you hit it right, the ball will go, if you don't, the hands are hurtin'. Swings heavier than the weight listed. I have the 28 oz. TZ, & a 28oz. XPSTX among others. The XPSTX swings much lighter.

Distance9I have had this bat for a couple weeks of pracftice and games now, which got about 400 swings on it. Out of the wrapper it was somewhat inconsistant, but now that it is broken in all I can say is WOW!!! This bat hits laser shot line drives as well as any composite I have hit. You won't get the same distance as a Miken or Synergy (but then again nothing else does), but you will be able to use this bat next year. I would recommend this bat to anyone.

Distance7.5Extremely diaappointing as a new bat from the makers of the Rocket. I own a Rocket and love it and agree with most of the reviews. I used most of the new bats (Wickeds, Synergys, DeMarinis, Connections) as a point of comparision. This bat is good singles bat when tournaments don't allow home runs. It is not a distance bat and that is from several different players on my team who have used it and used my Rocket (which they all like), their Synergys, Wickeds, De Marinis, etc. Also this VIP marketing langauge is wrong. This bat does vibrate. The Rocket is by far superior to the Zila.

Distance9.5As you can see from the scores I love this bat. I have not used a composite so I can't compare nor would I compare aluminum to a composite material. That's like comparing a double wall to a single wall. I have used a lot of different bats tis year and this one is the one I will cotinue to use. When you hit it, it feels solid, sounds great, and the ball speed off the bat is purely amazing. I am not a huge guy and I am not a massive power hitter. But in BP when you can swing away this bat showed me what it's all about. I hit ground balls I know the infeilders would of thought twice about getting in front of. I play third and I think I've faced most bats made this year. YES the miken hits HARD. I caught a line drive in the pocket and it still bruised the top of my hand, but it looks as if this bat is just as fast through the infeild. The line drives screamed and when I decided to swing away I hit the fence 8 out of 10 times on a 300-310-300 feild with an increadably strong head wind. Something I know I could not of done with my other bats. On a calm day the balls would have cleared with plenty of room to spare. I am not saying this bat adds distance or will help hit homeruns. I am saying this bat seems to make the ball travel faster then the other bats I have used. As we all know if you can hit homeruns with one bat you should be able to do it with any bat. The finsh of the bat is a matte black and it looks great. The quality is second to none. If you decide to get one just take the time to break it in. Believe me, the mallet trick helps.

This is the second best non-composite bat I have owned, the best being the Worth PST. But for the money there is no better non-composite on the market. As far as durability goes, I cant speak for mine. but my buddy hit his agaisnt a light pole about 50 times, and it hits twice as good a mine, and doesn't have the first dent.

Distance10My 1st impression is great. I went 3 for 3 before leaving the game. I had 2 homeruns in two swing and hit a double on my 3rd at bat due to a league HR limit. I swing a 29 oz bat and we use restricted flight balls. It almost sounds like you are hitting with a wooden bat. But when you see how far and fast the ball is moving, WOW! I let anyone on my team use it that wanted to. It absorbed alot of hits tonight, without any sign of a wave or flat spot. I highly reccomend this bat to anyone who wants value for their buck. At $239 it is a steal compared to the "big name" bats. WOW!

Distance10I have herd mixed reviews about this bat but let me say that I still can't get over how solid it felt. Everyone on my team felt the same way and the bat was just out of the rapper. I am very satisfied with the techzilla and I would recomend this bat without hesitation.

Distance10This bat feels better then the U2 felt. I had no problems hit several bombs straight out of the wrapper.
