Distance10I have waited for some time to test this bat, & I must say it was worth the wait. Great pop, huge sweat spot, & the durability has improved a bunch! This bat ranks right up there with the Ultra & any other composite bat, I would for sure recommend it!!!

Distance6i didn't love this bat, it just didn't feel like it had anything to it. the balls shot off of it pretty good, but after that it didn't do much more. for how long the barrel is the sweetspot is tiny, and if you miss the ss you know. the end cap on mine is also loose now, and it has less than 100 swings on it. but for a bat that can be found for under 50 bucks its not horrible, i think i might make it into a team bat.

Distance9.5THE FIRST TIME UP TO BAT WITH THE GENESIS, THE BALL WAS HISTORY. I HAVE YET TO FIND A BAT WITH THIS KIND OF POP THAT IS NOT SANCTION AS AN ILLEGAL BAT. MY FELLOW PLAYERS JOINED WHAT I CALL THE "GENESIS WAVE".

Distance9.5I had this bat last year. I lasted for about a month (probably about 200 swings) before it cracked in half. I sent it in under warranty. When I got my new bat it only lasted about 50 swings in 75 degrees weather! Even though the warranty was 1 year, 1 time, they exchanged it with the XXL Response, which I highly recommend.

Distance10This sticks got POP. Used for first time on Sunday. My first hit was slightly off the taper and it went 305' out the yard. I was impressed. The only other bat I have hit over the fence off the taper is my 2001 Fatboy. The crack was so loud the catcher and blue said god damn. I had to check it to see if it did crack cause the wind was blowing in that day and it was drizzling. It feels good and has a good sweet spot. I live in S. FLA. so I can't comment on cold performance but I would not recomend it. S.L.Hammond

Distance8.5This bat has pretty good pop, but as everyone knows the durability is very low. The Genesis has an average sweet spot but if you miss it, it will kill your hands. Nothing spectacular just an average bat. ratings based on asa legal bats only!!

Distance10I have not yet hit a home run with the genisis but I am very pleased with its perfomance. Although I do agree with everybody about its duability. It sucks. But other than that I am hitting extreamly well with the genisis. I have hit off the the top of 320' fences with tall fences.Other than the durability all I have to say about it is WOW!

Distance10Great bat if you are in the batter's box with 2 outs in the bottom of the seventh with the bases loaded and you need a HR. You will without a doubt launch one over the fences! Problem is it will be the last one you hit with that bat. The durability is hideous! Power is unbelievable, you are gonna dish out the money for a bat that will give you about 50-75 great hits. By then it's so dented and beat up, it's trash!

Distance9One of the best bats on the market hands down.Nothing but screaming line drives along with the occasional BOMB ! Durability has been great. After 150-200 hits, the bat is perfect.Huge sweetspot and excellent pop. This bat is just slightly behind the Ultra & Synergy.

Distance10New bat so we'll see how it lasts. First swing was estimated at 360'-385' and I barely touched it. I am 6'4 and quite big, so I've hit the 400' mark before, but like I said I barely touched the ball. I didn't think I hit the sweet spot, so the spot must be huge. Everyone who picked up the bat hit for power when the normally dont. I am buying my own ASAP

Distance10I have had my SB103 Genesis approximately 2 months. I play 2 nights a week and approx. 2 tourneys a month. I am 6'1, 196lbs with pretty good batspeed. Normally I hit line drives with 320-330 power. The Genny did take a little bit to get broken in and used to (approx. 100-150 swings). Now that it is broken in I am hitting 350+ with ease. This bat has great pop and as for the durability issues, I have none. So far, a wave or two but that looks more like the paint. This bat is performing great. I never use in temps below 65 degrees fahrenheit.

Distance10I just got my new 2003 louisville SB103 Genesis bat about a week ago and I was out hitting with it today at a game and the bat busted at the top I only weigh 165 about 5'5. The bat has good pop I like swinging it. the size of the bat is a 28oz so I thought I would order a 27oz and it's on the way. I think that it should be up grade some more and it would be a great bat.

Distance10Great Bat! Had an SB34 and SB103. The 34 actually lasted longer than the 103 did. Went yard many times using both versions. Strictly not a team bat. If your looking for a bat that is right below the Ultra2, Synergy, or the Wicked Composite???, then the Genny is the bat to get. I've hit the three I just mentioned and they do offer better distance than the Genny but are banned on many fields. I've also hit the Fury and Rocket Tech and they don't have quite the pop the Genny has, even after a break in period. Heck we were hitting 300+ bombs with my cracked SB34 in practice, until we broke it two. Couldn't return it because the warranty expired.

Distance9.5I used this bat in a tourney over the weekend and put about 50 game swings on it and it is already chipping. The bat has good pop and the sweetspot is nice. I did hit some bombs with it. This bat hits as well if not better than most bats out there. The Miken and Synergy are in a class by themselves.

Distance10This bat has great pop right out of the wrapper I hit bombs although it has started chipping towards the end cap already hopefully it won't get too bad but I won't use this bat in practice anymore its for games only otherwise it won't last very long. The sweet spot is very forgiving I was hitting 325 shots off the handle.

Distance10I was skeptical after I swung this bat in one practice... BUT after a short break in period the bat became a rocket launcher. I yanked a ball 350 ft + in a tournament yesterday and left the opposing team in awe. This bat is very forgiving to swing and is perfectly balanced. Durability is very questionable I've only put about 125 cuts on this bat and it's already chipping....

Distance9.5bought SB34 in fall of 01, first game i hit one off the hands that went 300ft..in spring hit four bombs in four games. AT age 49, haven't had four homers in last 15 years on same fields. Even hit one against National Chamos in a state tourney in first at-bat. Great confidence builder. Only problem was that i broke three SB34's. I bought two, but TPS actually warrantied one twice. Got recertified models brand new as replacements. If the SB103 holds up better, it'll be a winner. If problems continue with durability, players will abandon TPS in droves. I've been a faithful customer since the SB1's and before but i'll go elsewhere if durability can't be improved...only have so many good years left!!

Distance9.5Spring 2002, I used the bat a couple of games because I was not impressed with the sound or performance. When I used it during the entire summer, the sound is the same but the ball "bullets" off the bat. Especially if you go opposite field. As for distance, you can go 300'-305' with ease. A lot of the other guys bats busted. The top layer on mine started chipping. Plans are to continue using it. Other 2003 plans are to go with the Louisville SB203 Gen1X XXL.

Distance10I am 5'7 155 and this bat has changed the way I play the game. When I use to come up with bases loaded I would try to drive something hard into opposite field. Now I am looking for a pitch to take out. If this bat is anything like the first one, I expect big results. Hats off to TPS for making such a great bat. If I had to compare it to another bat, I would compare it to the Miken Ultra.

One when it was cold outside, it cracked and wasn't very durable, then I used it this past weekend while it was warm and HOLY S**T, its got some pop. Distance10If you are already a heavy hitter, trust me and save your money for something else. This bat has more pop than anything I have EVER hit, but the first (and only) time I used it was in a home run derby where I hit 8 out of 10 bombs but cracked the bat in 2 places. If you are a base or gap hitter this is the ultimate bat. I think the sweet spot is so big you can hit it off your hands and it will still go through the infield.
