Distance10I just started playing in the summer of 2002 and bought a used 98 ult dist from a friend of my father. I had never hit a homerun before, however that quickly changed. I had to stop playing with my 98 version when it became outlawed and bought a 03 distance....a little more balanced than the 98 smaller sweet spot than the B52 but when you hit it on the button with the distance the ball is GONE! You get the total package with the distance...I may never buy another type of Demarini.

Distance9.5Just bought one last week. I have a 98 that has been cryoed..which still hits bombs. Can't really give the new one a reliable score yet, because I have used it in one game( 3 hits )only. First hit was a deep one about 300,but no homer and one was a screamer right at 3b. I think after 50-60 hits it should liven up more and start producing the 330+ shots I'm used to. I will report back after a few weeks and alot of hitting.

Distance9.5I like the 2003 DeMarini Doublewall Distance. The first time i used it the ball went out the ball park. It fell good. I used the 2001 modle it was good but not great. The great one is the 2003 modle. The bat of your chose the 2003 distance.

Distance10This bat needed about 50-70 hits from bp and it was off to the races. I hit a lot of hard grounders when I first got it but after about a week of hitting those hard line drives they turned into BOMBS!!! A must in every bag!

Distance10WOW!Talk about some pop this bat has it all for the price. Bat has 25 swings and 15 from myself and already hit 5 out and 1 of them went 375+ and was my team in awe. The third swing even took one 325+. The other 10 swings had 2 go yard by other players. They picked the correct name when they said distance!!!

Distance9I've been using the distance since I started playing in 98 and it is still a great stick for an affordable price. Awsome all around bat for line drives and for power.

Distance10Great bat. Hit shots farther than my 2002 B52, and i can hit some monsters with my B52. This is my 5th DeMarini and i love it. Better than the 2002 Classic, 2001 DWD and just as good as my 2002 B52 if not better. 2003 will be a great year for DeMarini users.

Distance9.5I love the new Doublewall Distance. I used it to win a HR hitting competition about one week ago. I think it hits much better than the 2001 model I had. I also have a virtually brand new 1998 model and the 2003 hits within 5-10 feet as far as the 1998 model (you all know how good they are.) The 2003 also seems much more durable. I have hit about 300 balls (alot of them were high-compression Deck Big Sharks) so far and not even a ripple on the barrell. I love the slightly end-loaded feel also. The 28oz feels great.
